The Refresher Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (R-PSCRB) is a 1-day DG Shipping-approved Refresher Course conducted through classroom and practical training sessions. It is mandatory for seafarers who are required to revalidate their Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats certificate as per STCW A-VI/2 requirements.This course is designed to refresh the competency of seafarers in launching, handling, and operating survival crafts and rescue boats during emergency situations.

The training covers boat handling, engine operation, use of survival equipment, rescue boat maneuvers, man overboard recovery, and survival management after abandoning ship.The practical sessions are conducted at our DG-approved survival ground with real lifeboats, rescue boats, and liferafts, ensuring hands-on experience in launching, rowing, steering, and operating lifeboat engines. On successful completion, candidates are awarded a DGS Approved R-PSCRB Certificate valid for 5 years and mandatory for CDC revalidation and next vessel joining.
